Poker Decadence Conference

Brian Townsend is a Gambler and I love him for it. He’s holding 56s in this hand against the great Phil Ivey and decides to play it very aggressively. On the turn he makes a pair and an open-end straightdraw (to give him thirteen out against any pair really) pretty much drawing dead against 9T and 45 (which he could have known Phil didn’t have) so he decided to all-in semibluff with his last $90,000. I like the play because he’s pretty much drawing live, and should have loads of fold equity knowing Phil will most likely fold any pair, maybe even Jacks, Queens or Kings…

Phil makes a good call but gets drawn out on by Brian.

The whole Full Tilt Poker discussion in the comments is so stupid.
