Well, the iPad definitely is going to be the hottest technology in the world and it is actually a fantastic tool to use whenever you are looking to do some online poker. The reason for that is because it is so high-tech, so quick and the picture is so clear, you will have a fantastic time using it for online poker.

You just have to remember that if you do want to use it that all of the software needs to be compatible with a Mac versus a PC!

Next, you do not want to pressure yourself by comparing all of those beautiful skills you have against another player’s that is more skilled because of practice. You are still a newbie and you just need to accept that. It will come with time and as soon as you get good enough, another new player will be comparing their skills to yours.

Finally – relax, it is supposed to be a fun game and while you might have some money in it, relax and it will get easier!

Firstly, you need to make sure that you do not let your nerves get the better of you. Online poker is something that is so much fun and you can truly cut loose – however, you can also cut loose too much and lose a lot of money. Online poker is very addictive and even after the first game, you will probably be hooked.

Remember, even though it might seem that online poker might be easier to win than real poker, it isn’t – it is actually one of the hardest games and you could lose a lot of money!

When you are aware of your position on the table and the other players position on the table, you will honestly get to choose the cards you want to play and when you play them. In early position – only play the very, very best hands possible. If you are constantly having someone rise after every hand, you might want to play a little tighter with them at the table.

Being aware of your position at the table is something every poker player needs to worry about … if you are serious about the game that is.

After that, you need to make sure that you find the right online poker site that meets all of your needs. There are a lot of them out there so you should absolutely make sure that you find one that is going to suit all of your needs and that you feel comfortable with.

Finally, you need to make sure that you have the time to dedicate to online poker. While it is a fun game, if you are looking to make some serious cash with this game, you want to make sure that you can dedicate some time to it!

By freakin’ far, Erik Sagstrom is one of those players that I never, ever would think would be almost a millionaire. This Swedish man is definitely one of the best poker players in the world and he started his career when he was just the tender age of 18! That alone boggles my mind! Imagine, playing when you are that young and beating out all of the people that have been playing for such a long time. Incredible!

Erik started out with just cash games and some tournaments and then he came to the realization that he was really, really good with cards and he actually quit high school and pursued a career in poker. He now knows how to manager a powerful poker room all by himself and while he is definitely not as aggressive as a lot of people’s he is certainly making a name for himself.

He has only been playing online poker for about 10 years now, since 1999, but he is definitely still rakin’ in the dough and that is incredible!

Winning at online poker is something that is very difficult and it does really take some skill to be able to do it. Online poker is one of those things that in recent years has become extremely popular and if you are just starting out playing, you should definitely learnt he ins and outs of how to play poker before you try your hand at online poker. In blog, we are going to explore some of the most common mistakes that people make in online poker so you can avoid them!

Firstly – know when to quit. A lot of people play just to play and they usually are playing way too many hands and that is one of the main reasons why they lose so much money. So if your luck is down, you might as well quit while you are ahead and save yourself some cash.

Next, you should really set realistic expectations. Just because you are playing online, that does not mean that you can go ‘sit’ and play at tables that you know are a higher limit because you think you are going to earn more money. It won’t happen, so make sure you stay within your skill set!

Well, not really a bad call, but I did go in with the worst of it. I just sucked out badly and ended up winning the tournament because of it — and endured quite the rant afterwards too…. Let’s run over the hand….

4-handed, I’m on the button with about 30% of the chips at the table. Chip leader has about half, one guy is painfully shortstacked, and had been for quite some time… He was shortstacked moving into the final table, and was just enjoying people get eliminated…

I’m deal KJ of spades on the button, and I raise 4BB. SB folds, BB re-raises the minimum — I call.

Flop comes: QT4, no spades. BB bets the pot, I call.

Turn: J

He checks, I bet 3/4 pot — he shoves. Would he really shove with AK? it would be consistent, but why would he? I ponder, and make the call (I had ‘m covered) — he turns over QJ. River: 9, making my straight.

Ha! SUCKOUT!!!!
